Security & Trust: Privacy and security copy is more factual and avoids blanket legal or GDPR claims. GPSR: The percentage is explicitly labelled as completeness of the intended fields, not legal approval. Help: The Deal Scanner FAQ now describes the actual photo, purchase-price, price-range, profit, and ROI workflow. Marketplace Comparison: Unsupported legal-safety rankings were replaced with concrete use-case and payment/platform-protection guidance. Current Data & Selling Tools Update
Calculators, guides, and public seller guidance were refreshed for August 2026 and written with clearer limitations.
Shipping: Public rates and size rules for DHL, Hermes, DPD, and GLS were refreshed. Fees: eBay and Vinted guidance was aligned with current fee and platform rules. Documents: PStTG, invoice, E-invoice, and self-created receipt guidance was made more precise and explicit about limitations. Sourcing: Guides now focus on condition, authenticity, completeness, and risk instead of fixed margin or demand promises. SEO: Review dates, source links, and internal links to matching calculators and tools were improved. Deal Scanner & Reliability Update
The Deal Scanner now separates AI identification, market data, and purchase decisions more clearly, while critical workflows were hardened underneath.
Deal Scanner: AI identifies the product, model, and visible condition; it does not invent market prices or BUY / GAMBLE / LEAVE decisions. eBay: Browse data is labelled as active asking-price data, with a separate sold-items link for manual verification. Decision: BUY / GAMBLE / LEAVE is calculated deterministically from purchase price, conservative comparison value, condition, sample size, and identification confidence. Credits: Charges happen only after a successful validated analysis; paid deductions are atomic in PostgreSQL. Mobile: Scanner controls, camera guidance, and result hierarchy were tightened for faster sourcing on a phone. CrowDrop: Upload validation was strengthened, storage paths were made private, and short-lived signed URLs were introduced.
