Find Drop-off LocationDHL uses public online prices. Hermes uses online rates for parcelshop drop-off with delivery to the recipient. DPD uses DPD CLASSIC with online payment and parcelshop drop-off. GLS publishes German online rates as 'from' prices, so they are labelled accordingly.
The calculator applies the public sizing rules. Surcharges, bulky goods, islands, business contracts or changes after the review date can change the final price.
Many parcel classes use longest + shortest side. Hermes changed selected German private-customer prices on 2 Mar 2026.
Online to recipient: Päckchen €5.19, S €5.79, M €6.99, L €10.99.
DHL uses fixed dimensions and weight tiers. The current online price is €6.19 for Paket 2 kg, €7.69 for 5 kg and €10.49 for 10 kg.
Päckchen can be cheaper but do not provide the same tracking/liability setup as DHL Paket.
For tight-margin shipments, verify the final checkout price with the carrier.
